 THE EYE!

Your Frontal View reads circles and Arcs while the Peripheral view recognizes horizontal and vertical lines faster.

Movement in painting is key to keeping the eyes attention.

When painting..take lots of breaks because the eyes can become numb to colors.

Large paintings use the peripheral vision.

You can direct emphasis on a color by putting certain colors surrounding it. That is something called Symotanias Contrast.

Optical Mixing: instead of mixing to a color, try placing colors together so it mixes in the eye.
