11-12 Adventure 8!

Joe Bob's Notes 4!

Hardboard: Compressed Wood.

Plywood: Birch Faced, oak, popple.

Hardwood: Fibers going up and down

Gesso!
COVER FRONT AND BACK AND ALL SIDES!

If the back isnt also covered the painting can bulge out from the humitiy.
If the sides are not covered the humitiy can get in and end up cracking the painting.
Gesso one direnction then the other on another layer.

DO NOT USE PINEFACE! it will not last.

When the wood looks like the inner part of the rings it will warp.

Make sure to sand it before hand and do NOT blow off the dust because it will be in the air and is band to inhale.

Sand front and back.

You can use oil on top of acrilic paints but NEVER the other way around!
